How to have your details removed
Last updated 6 October 2026
You can have your name, number, email and the salon’s notes about you removed at any time. You do not have to give a reason.
The fastest way: ask your salon
Tell the salon you booked with — in person, on the phone or on WhatsApp. They can do it from their own dashboard in a moment, because it is their client list. Ask them to use Delete client details on your record.
Or ask us
If you would rather not contact the salon, or you cannot remember which salon it was, use the contact form and we will come back to you.
Tell us the mobile number you booked with and, if you know it, the name of the salon. We will pass the request to the salon, because the client list is theirs, and then confirm to you that it has been done.
What happens
- Your name, mobile number, email address and the salon’s private notes about you are cleared.
- Any reminder still waiting to be sent to you is cancelled.
- The salon’s booking records stay, with nothing in them that identifies you, so their totals and history still add up.
- Your number is freed, so if you ever book there again you start fresh.
If you are not happy
Under POPIA you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforeg@justice.gov.za. We would much rather you told us first and gave us the chance to put it right.
